Award-winning jazz and pops artist and conductor, Matt Catingub presents
Jazz that Rocks. This exciting ensemble presents the hippest hits from the past 50 years, played by musicians and vocalists whose talents stretch across a host of genres. Members of this group have performed alongside many of the artists whose music is featured on the program, including Carole King, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Al Jarreau, and many more. Expect to be dancing in your seat as you listen to their fabulous music.
THE ARCOSTRUM EXPERIENCE
Join us for a unique and entertaining evening on Monday, November 16, 2026, at the Glenwood Springs High School, when these classically trained musicians introduce you to familiar music played on familiar instruments intersperse with captivating music from afar. ArcoStrum seamlessly combines the sounds of traditional Chinese instruments with the virtuosity of classical violin, guitar and electric guitar. TY Zhang and Strauss Shi present an innovative program, merging Eastern and Western cultures, with selections from favorites such as Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons and Williams’ “Schindler’s List”, and traditional pieces from China and beyond.
THE JERSEY TENORS
On Friday, February 26, 2027, The Jersey Tenors will perform for us at Mountain View Church at 7:00 PM. This lively , talented foursome is an Opera/Rock Mash-up sensation, creating an explosive blend of iconic opera classics alongside rock ‘n roll greats like Queen, Elton John, and Bon Jovi. They highlight music by Jersey stars, such as Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, and Whitney Houston. You will soon be singing along with these 4 charming, talented wise guys.
NU BLU COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS
On Sunday, March 14, 2027, we move to Appalachia to present North Carolina-based Nu Blu. These talented musicians deliver a warm Appalachian sound with seamless vocal harmonies and blazing accompaniment on banjo, mandolin and guitar. Their upbeat songs and gentle heartwarming ballads delight fans of any music genre, and they have established themselves as one of the top acoustic acts in the music industry. They’ll perform at 7:00 PM at the Glenwood Springs High School.
JIM WITTER – THE 70’S SHOW
Audience favorite Jim Witter returns to our stage for our grand finale on Monday, May 10, 2027. He and a talented group of friends will be celebrating the hits of the 70’s. The audience is invited to party with them as they recall songs like Midnight at the Oasis, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Killing me Softly, and many many others. Longtime members of Community Concerts may remember Jim’s ability to put together a memorable story while entertaining us with his music. This show is sure to please everyone. They’ll perform for us at the Mountain View Church at 7:00 PM.
